Creating Interfaces That Understand People

I design digital experiences with a strong analytical foundation and a mindset focused on continuous growth. My career didn’t change overnight, it evolved. I started as a Technical Support Engineer and later became a Database Specialist, working closely with users to solve complex system issues and ensure stable, high-performing environments. That experience shaped how I see UX today: before thinking about solutions, I focus on understanding the real problem.

Collaboration has always been part of my work. Delivering a fully functioning server wasn’t the responsibility of just one team,  infrastructure, applications and database specialists all had a role to play. My responsibility was to ensure database integrity while aligning with architecture design and business requirements. Working in that environment strengthened cross-team collaboration, accountability and ability to balance technical constraints with user needs.

Problem-solving has always been at the centre of what I do. Whether helping users gain access, enabling new features or analysing performance bottlenecks, I prioritized permanent corrective actions by investigating underlying system failures. Today, I bring that same structured thinking into my design process.

I start with user interviews, insights, behavioural data and usability feedback to uncover patterns and real pain points. In my recent Pet Escapes e-commerce project, I refined the flow through iteration until it felt clearer and more intuitive for users.

I’m motivated by building thoughtful, user-centred products that make sense, not just visually but technically and strategically as well.

Career Timeline

1 - Technical Support Engineer → Database Specialist

Solved complex system failures, collaborated across apps and infraestructure teams. Built the habit of finding root causes, not just symptoms.

2 - Pivot into UX

Brought analytical experience into design. User interviews, journey maps and prototypes replaced database queries but the mindset stayed the same, solving business and user issues.

3 - UX Designer / Product Designer

Designing end-to-end flows for real products. Pet Escapes, research-led iteration.

Technical background makes results faster.
